On September 2nd, the Thailand-China BCG Economic Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as the "Symposium") was held in Beijing, and Zhang Shaogang, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended and addressed the Symposium.

Zhang Shaogang said that Thailand-China all-round economic and trade cooperation enjoys a greater and more promising prospect, as this year marks the tenth anniversary of the establishment of Thailand-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and the RCEP agreement takes effect. In terms of strengthening bio-circular-green (BCG) economic cooperation between Thailand and China, he put forward three suggestions. First, boost international green cooperation to share the results of green development. Second, enhance technological and industrial matchmaking and promote cooperation on standards. Third, encourage innovations in green practices and give full play to market's leading role.

Hosted by the CCPIT, Thai Embassy in China and Thai Chamber of Commerce in China, and organized by the China Chamber of International Commerce, the symposium, as a sideline event of 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services, was joined by representatives from relevant government departments, business associations, chambers of commerce and enterprises of Thailand and China.
