Department of International Cooperation

(I)     Main responsibilities

The Department of International Cooperation is responsible for:

- undertaking communication and cooperation between the CCPIT and relevant international and regional organizations, and the CCPIT’s participation in the arrangement and coordination of international and regional economic and trade organizations and their activities;

- providing service for Chinese businesses to participate in multilateral business cooperation under the G20, BRICS, APEC, ASEM and SCO, to involve them in the Global Development Initiative;

- coordinating the operations of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in China and the liaison between ICC China and ICC;

- recommending talents to relevant international organizations on behalf of the CCPIT;

- participating in studies on international economic and trade rules and offering policy recommendations;

- undertaking other work assigned by the CCPIT leadership.
