2026-07-01

On the morning of June 25, the China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC) officially released the Report on Supply Chain Dispute Resolution Through the Lens of Typical Arbitration Cases during the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE). Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Vice Chairman of CMAC, attended and addressed the releasing ceremony.

Nie Wenhui noted that as China’s only national-level arbitration institution specializing in maritime, admiralty, transport and logistics dispute resolution, the CMAC has handled a large number of supply chain arbitration cases. The newly released report is highly relevant, fact-driven, and practically guiding. It also identifies five key trends shaping the future of supply chain dispute resolution: proactive prevention, integrated processes, digital intelligence, value creation, and globalization.

After the release, the CMAC leaders and arbitrators took questions from the press. The event drew more than 100 participants from legal, business, and academic communities, as well as journalists.
