Liaison Officials’ Meeting for the 23rd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit and China-ASEAN Business Council Plenary Meeting 2026 Held in Guangxi

On April 28th, the Liaison Officials’ Meeting for the 23rd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit and the China-ASEAN Business Council Plenary Meeting 2026 were held in Nanning, Guangxi. Liu Jiannan, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

Liu Jiannan noted that, in the face of severe challenges to the current international economic and trade order, deepening China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation is of great significance. The 23rd Summit will focus on serving the development of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0 as its central theme, deepen cooperation in artificial intelligence and digital economy, and better support economic and trade cooperation between the business communities of China and ASEAN. The China-ASEAN Business Council will continue to enhance regional production and supply chain connectivity, foster cooperation in emerging areas, and steadily improve the level of practical cooperation among  business communities.

Senior officials of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, representatives of ASEAN embassies in China, the national chambers of commerce and industry of ASEAN countries, and the China-ASEAN center, and member enterprises of the China-ASEAN Business Council participated in the above events.
