On October 14, Liu Jiannan, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met in Beijing with Lord Gerry Grimstone, former UK Minister for Investment and Chairman of Gemcorp Capital, and his delegation. The two sides exchanged views on deepening exchanges between the Chinese and UK business communities, supporting practical cooperation between enterprises of the two countries, and promoting the coordinated development of China-UK industrial and supply chains.
