On September 18, 2025, the China-ASEAN Commercial Law Forum and the 2025 China Arbitration Week Nanning Session was successfully held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Li Qingshuang, Vice Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Huang Hailong, President of the High People’s Court of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, attended the event and delivered remarks.
Li Qingshuang noted that the CCPIT is ready to work with ASEAN partners to further improve dialogue mechanisms, support joint R&D of legal technology and coordination of standards, promote cross-border cooperation among legal service institutions, and build a “one-stop” commercial legal service platform, thereby consolidating the rule-of-law foundation for the building of a China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
As one of the parallel forums of the 22nd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, the event was co-hosted by the CCPIT, the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The forum brought together more than 300 representatives from the legal community of multiple countries, who engaged in in-depth discussions on how AI is driving innovation and reshaping legal services.
