On the afternoon of December 10, Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met with Saleh Al Sharqi, Secretary-General of Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on issues such as promoting the high-quality upgrading of the business cooperation between the Chinese and GCC business communities, accelerating the establishment of the ASEAN-China-GCC Business Council, and deepening regional industrial and supply chain cooperation, and signed the Memorandum of Understanding Among ASEAN, China and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
