On February 13, the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) held the ICDPASO Hadmen International Salon Event – the special session of “Global Perspective on Eastern Mediation” in Beijing. Liu Jiannan, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Chairman of ICDPASO, and Zhang Yuejiao, Honorary Chairman of ICDPASO, former Judge and Chair of the WTO Appellate Body, attended the event and delivered speeches. Teresa Cheng, Secretary-General of the International Organization of Mediation, and See Chern Yang, Chairperson of the Law Society of Singapore Mediation Committee, delivered keynote presentations.

Liu Jiannan stated that commercial mediation is becoming an increasingly important option in the field of international dispute resolution. ICDPASO is willing to strengthen exchanges and deepen cooperation with all parties to jointly contribute more practical solutions to the settlement of global commercial disputes.

More than 100 people including representatives of ICDPASO member institutions, renowned experts in the field of international mediation and representatives of relevant legal service institutions in Beijing attended the event, and global members of ICDPASO participated online.
