2026-02-06

On the afternoon of January 30, the Work Symposium for Vice-Chair Members of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) was held in Beijing. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the CCOIC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Liu Jiannan, Vice Chairman of the CCPIT and the CCOIC, presided over the meeting. The symposium facilitated extensive exchanges and discussions on further strengthening and improving the work of the CCOIC and deepening cooperation between the CCOIC and enterprises.

Ren Hongbin emphasized that the CCPIT and the CCOIC must fully leverage their unique role in "bridging the government and enterprises, facilitating domestic and international connections, and ensuring smooth supply and demand." Efforts should focus on key areas such as serving the national priorities, deepening international cooperation in industrial and supply chains, improving the level of foreign-related legal services, participating in global economic governance, and building high-level applied think tanks. CCPIT and CCOIC should further enhance the quality and effectiveness of services for member enterprises, strengthen practical cooperation across various fields, jointly implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, promote high-level opening-up, and contribute to a strong start for China's 15th Five-Year Plan.

The symposium was attended by principal officials and relevant representatives from the CCOIC vice-chair members, including Sinopec Group, China Huaneng Group, China Post Group, China General Technology Group and China Railway Construction Corporation, who delivered speeches during the exchanges.
