On the morning of July 17, the 2025 Jiangxi Key Industries Cooperation Promotion Conference, part of the third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), was convened in Beijing. Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Xia Wenyong, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province, attended and addressed the event.

According to Nie, with profound cultural heritage, exceptional ecological environment, abundant mineral resources, and a full-fledged industrial system, Jiangxi has increasingly become a fertile ground for domestic and international enterprises to invest and thrive. This promotion conference, using supply chains as its narrative medium, tells Jiangxi’s story and amplifies its voice, showcasing a vibrant Jiangxi to all the guests. The CCPIT will continue supporting Jiangxi’s socio-economic development by building more platforms and delivering enhanced services, propelling this inland province to make steady progress like blooming sesame flowers in its efforts to build itself into a pacesetter of reform and opening up. 

Xia Wenyong highlighted that Jiangxi boasts solid industrial foundations, strong innovation capabilities, unique geographical advantages, and a first-class business environment. It is rapidly transforming from an inland hinterland into a vanguard of opening up, deeply integrating into both domestic and international circulations. Pursuing two-way opening up to benefit all through connectivity, Jiangxi embraces the world with this broad vision and advances high-quality development through pragmatic measures. There has never been a better time to invest and thrive here. Jiangxi warmly welcomes entrepreneurs to explore industrial and supply chain collaboration. At the promotion conference, representatives from multinational corporations such as Danaher, Fresenius Kabi, and NielsenIQ delivered presentations, voicing strong confidence in Jiangxi’s investment potential. They expressed eagerness to expand practical cooperation with the province to achieve mutual success.

The Jiangxi Development and Reform Commission, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province, as well as the management committees of the Ganzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone and the Nanchang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, delivered presentations highlighting key sectors such as pharmaceuticals, comprehensive health, and producer services. Intuitive Fosun and Koelnmesse respectively held interactive exchanges with the Jiangxi Province Healthcare Security Administration and the Nanchang Municipal Bureau of Commerce on topics such as medical technology innovation and promoting the development of the local exhibition industry.

This event was hosted by the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province and co-organized by the CCPIT Jiangxi Sub-council, the Jiangxi Development and Reform Commission, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province, and the CCPIT Trade Promotion and Exchange Center. It invited 70 representatives from Fortune 500 companies, multinational corporations, and foreign business associations specializing in the pharmaceutical/comprehensive health and producer services sectors. Also in attendance were senior officials from relevant Jiangxi provincial departments, cities divided into districts, and industrial parks.
