2026-07-01

On the afternoon of June 25, during the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), the Investment Promotion Seminar on "Exploring Thailand – Thailand's Business Environment, Promotion Policy and Investment Opportunities" & CCOIC Country-themed Salon was successfully held in Beijing. Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Chatchai Viriyavejakul, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to China, attended and addressed the event.

Nie Wenhui noted that China and Thailand share close geographical proximity and deep cultural affinity. The accelerated implementation of the "Thailand 4.0" strategy and the "Eastern Economic Corridor" (EEC) scheme highly aligns with China's strategic direction of promoting high-quality development and expanding high-level opening up. In recent years, the CCPIT Commercial and Legal Service Center has established a close partnership with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI). Nie expressed hope that both sides will make their cooperation mechanisms more substantial and bring more tangible benefits to enterprises. By comprehensively strengthening collaboration in policy interpretation, project matchmaking, brand promotion, commercial legal services, and reciprocal delegation visits, both sides can continuously achieve mutual success and advance toward shared goals.

Keynote presentations and thematic shares were delivered by representatives from the Thailand BOI, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Thai), the 304 Industrial Park (Thailand), and the CCPIT Commercial and Legal Service Center.

The event was jointly hosted by the CCPIT Commercial and Legal Service Center, the Thailand BOI Beijing Office, and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC). Approximately 100 representatives from relevant Chinese and Thai institutions, financial organizations, industrial zones, and industrial chain enterprises attended the Seminar.
