The “Round-Table Dialogue between Vietnamese Government and CEOs from China” was successfully held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on September 17. Mai Van Chinh, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister, Wei Tao, Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Li Qingshuang, Vice Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Bui Hoang Phuong, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Science and Technology attended and addressed the event.

Li Qingshuang noted that Chinese enterprises have carried out fruitful cooperation with Vietnam, acting as active participants and drivers of China-Vietnam economic and trade relations. The CCPIT is ready to fully leverage its role as an open gateway and bridge, work with Vietnamese partners to jointly build high-quality platforms for trade and investment promotion, and further enhance cross-border business facilitation.

The 22nd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit was co-hosted by the CCPIT, the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce & Industry. As one of the summit’s parallel forums, the round-table dialogue brought together around 250 representatives from the political and business circles from China and Vietnam. During the event, representatives of Chinese enterprises engaged in interactive dialogue  with senior Vietnamese government officials.
