On June 5, the U.S.-China (Chongqing) General Aviation Industry Exchange was held in Chongqing. The event brought together over 150 representatives from relevant institutions and enterprises of China and the United States.
At the roundtable, representatives from leading U.S. general aviation companies namely Cirrus Aircraft, Textron Inc., Textron Aviation, Bell Textron Inc., Bose, and Lycoming Engines, along with officials from competent Chinese authorities and industry representatives, conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as frontier industry trends, innovation implementation in application scenarios, construction of emergency rescue and safety assurance systems, integration of general aviation with cultural and tourism consumption, and cultivation of professional talent. The two sides also explored cooperation potential in areas such as collaborative innovation across industrial chains and implementation of pragmatic projects.
Held as the first general aviation thematic matchmaking session under the framework of U.S.-China Commercial Match-Making Program (CMP), the exchange was co-hosted by the CCPIT Department of Industry Promotion and the U.S. Commercial Service China, and was organized by the Chongqing Municipal Transportation Commission and the CCPIT Chongqing Committee. It aimed to facilitate pragmatic exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and U.S. enterprises in the fields of general aviation and low-altitude economy.
