2025 BRICS Intellectual Property Forum Successfully Held

On October 22nd, the 2025 BRICS Intellectual Property Forum (BIPF) was successfully held in Qingdao, Shandong Province. Li Xingqian, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended and addressed the opening ceremony.

Li said that the BRICS countries need to deepen intellectual property cooperation, promote trade development and technological innovation, and drive economic growth. The CCPIT is willing to continue making full use of its expertise to promote in-depth and practical cooperation among BRICS countries in various fields such as intellectual property rights and commercial law.

This forum, themed on "Coordinated Development of Intellectual Property Protection among BRICS Countries", was hosted by the CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office. Over 150 representatives from government ministries, the business community, and academia attended the event. Prior to the opening of the forum, Li met with the representatives from the BRICS countries attending the meeting. After the opening ceremony, Li visited local enterprises for research and promoted the China International Supply Chain Expo.
