On the morning of June 24, a Fireside Chat event was successfully held in Beijing by the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) during the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE). Li Xingqian, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended the event.
Themed "Openness, Connectivity, and Synergy: China-U.S. Business Communities Discussing New Opportunities in the Asia-Pacific," the event was hosted by Chen Weihong, a renowned anchor from CMG. Panelists included Mohamed Kande, Global Chair of PwC, Zhang Weiwu, China Member-designate of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) and Vice President of ICBC, and Landon Loomis, ABAC U.S. Member and President of Boeing China. They engaged in an in-depth dialogue on core topics, including the implementation, value transformation, and global development trends of AI in key sectors such as advanced manufacturing, financial services, and the aviation industry. The guests also discussed deepening regional economic integration and smoothing the collaborative synergy of Asia-Pacific industrial and supply chains during the APEC "China Year". The event demonstrated the firm commitment of Chinese and American enterprises to working hand in hand to promote regional collaborative development, contributing valuable business insights to consolidating the foundation of Asia-Pacific industrial cooperation and boosting the long-term prosperity and stability of Asian-Pacific economy.
More than 300 participants attended the event, including representatives from the ABAC, business leaders from relevant APEC economies, CCOIC member enterprises, and CISCE exhibitors.
