On July 22nd, Chen Jian'an, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended the opening ceremony of the China International Digital and Software Service Fair 2021 (the “Fair”) and delivered a speech.

Chen Jian’an said that developing digital economy and digital industry, upgrading traditional industries with digital technologies, and promoting the deep integration of digital economy and real economy are important measures to take the high-quality development of economy and society to the next level. In the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the Fair with the theme of "Digitalize and Innovate Future" is of great significance to promote the deep integration of digital economy and real economy and build an internationally competitive digital industry cluster. The CCPIT stands ready to give full play to its strengths and enhance cooperation with Chinese and foreign business organizations to open up new prospects for international cooperation in digital economy. 

The event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of the People's Republic of China, the CCPIT and the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, and organized by the People's Government of Dalian Municipality, and the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce.
