CCPIT Vice Chairman Nie Wenhui Attends 63rd East Asia Business Council Meeting

From May 20 to 21, Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended the 63rd East Asia Business Council (EABC) Meeting and the 9th RCEP Business Advisory Council (RBAC) Meeting in Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China, and delivered speeches.

Nie stated that the EABC, since its establishment in 2004, has actively played its role as a bridge to promote economic integration in East Asia by organizing a series of meetings and events and setting up various platforms for exchanges. He emphasized that the CCPIT will continuously participate in and support the work of the EABC, jointly safeguard multilateralism and free trade, and contribute its experience and strength to steering the global economy toward greater openness, inclusiveness, balanced growth, and win-win outcomes for all.

Nie accompanied Ma Xingrui, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, to meet foreign representatives and attendees from the business sector. He also held discussions with over 20 local enterprises in Xinjiang.
