China-Saudi Arabia Closed Door Meeting with SOE's Companies Roundtable Successfully Held in Beijing

On August 26th, the China-Saudi Arabia Closed Door Meeting with SOE's Companies Roundtable was held in Beijing. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Arabia Investment Minister, attended and addressed the meeting.

Ren Hongbin stated that under the strategic guidance of the two countries' leaders, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Saudi Arabia has continuously deepened, yielding fruitful results in practical cooperation across sectors. He urged the business communities of both sides to further promote the expansion and upgrading of trade cooperation, deepen mutually beneficial collaboration in the investment sector, and strengthen industrial and supply chain cooperation.

Al-Falih elaborated on the opportunities for bilateral cooperation, noting that Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 is highly compatible with China's Belt and Road Initiative. He hopes enterprises from both countries will consolidate the foundation of traditional trade while advancing energy transition, digital innovation and industrial upgrading, and jointly safeguard the stability of global industrial and value chains.

Relevant enterprises in China and Saudi Arabia held face-to-face exchanges, conducting in-depth exchanges on major project cooperation, industrial chain alignment, and investment opportunities.
