"Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technology into e-commerce content creation can significantly enhance content quality and traffic, driving higher conversion rates. Our solution is winning recognition from merchants worldwide. We've already opened an office in Singapore and will soon establish an operations center in Nanning to better serve and expand in the ASEAN market," said Wu Bin, founder of Beijing Infimind Technology Co., Ltd. The company's project took home both the champion title and the Most Commercially Valuable Award.

A project brought by Li Xiang, co-founder of TV Joy, a technology company based in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province, won the ASEAN Future Unicorn Award.

Li explained that the company uses AI to quickly turn client-provided materials and scripts into micro-drama videos, seamlessly integrating ads to boost sales. The company has already produced and delivered its first fully AI-generated short drama for an ASEAN client, he said.

At the roadshow, many projects demonstrated how AI can be applied across critical business areas, including market research, smart product selection, precision marketing, supply chain optimization, and customer service. Beyond showcasing the technology's vast potential, these projects highlighted a deep understanding of industry challenges and impressive creativity in solving real-world problems.

Banyat Boonya, chairman of the ASEAN Business Association in Thailand, noted that the competition directly addressed the real challenges faced by cross-border e-commerce in ASEAN, such as language barriers, logistics delays, and misaligned product selection.

"On one hand, the competition opens a window for ASEAN businesses to access China's advanced AI technologies, showing how AI can help small and medium-sized enterprises lower barriers in cross-border operations. On the other, it allows Chinese companies to better understand ASEAN market needs, preventing a disconnect between technology and real-world applications, and laying a solid foundation for deeper future collaboration," said Boonya.

Winning projects at the competition will receive priority access to the China-ASEAN AI Innovation Cooperation Center, including rent-free office space and up to 5 million yuan (about $698,190) in funding.
