From June 5 to 7, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) organized a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit Belarus, in order to thoroughly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen bilateral practical cooperation, and help sustain and advance the China-Belarus all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership at a high level.

During the visit, the CCPIT, together with the Great Stone China-Belarus Industrial Park and the Belarusian National Agency of Investment and Privatization, co-hosted the China-Belarus Industrial and Investment Cooperation Forum in Minsk. China’s Vice President Han Zheng attended and delivered a keynote speech, while the First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov and the Economic Minister of Belarus Yury Chebotar also addressed the forum. More than 400 representatives from the political and business communities of the two countries participated. Focusing on agriculture, high-end equipment manufacturing, healthcare, artificial intelligence, new materials, and digital technologies, the business communities engaged in in-depth exchanges and negotiations, achieving a number of outcomes. The forum’s opening ceremony was presided over by Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the CCPIT.

The delegation also visited the Great Stone China-Belarus Industrial Park, the Belarusian National Agency of Investment and Privatization, and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where they gained detailed insight into Belarus’s preferential policies for investment attraction and investment opportunities, and explored potential for further bilateral trade and economic cooperation, laying a solid foundation for subsequent project matchmaking.
