From June 9 to 12, local time, Li Xingqian, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), led a delegation to Uzbekistan, in order to promote exchanges and cooperation between the business communities of China and Uzbekistan, and advance bilateral economic and trade relations.
During the visit, Li attended the Fourth Tashkent International Investment Forum, toured the First National Exhibition of Industrial and Investment Potential of Uzbekistan, and met with notable Uzbek representatives from relevant authorities, including Abdulla Khashimov, Advisor to the Uzbek Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, and Rasulov Dilshod Ozodovich, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. Highlighting Li’s introduction to the latest achievenments in Chinese modernization and China’s new opening-up measures, they held in-depth discussions on deepening practical cooperation between Chinese and Uzbek enterprises in agriculture, textiles, automobiles, minerals, new energy and other fields. Li also promoted the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), extending a warm invitation to the Uzbek government and business community to participate in the event.
The delegation also visited the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan, engaged in exchanges with the Uzbek-China Chamber of Commerce, and conducted research on the business operations of both Chinese-funded enterprises in Uzbekistan and local enterprises.
