On May 20, Li Qingshuang, Vice Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended and addressed a Video Conference with U.S. B20 Chair online.
Li Qingshuang stated that Chinese business community will actively participate in the U.S. B20 process and uphold the principles of mutual respect, win-win cooperation, and consensus through consultation, together with business communities around the world. She expressed China's willingness to promote position coordination on key issues such as promoting trade and investment liberalization and facilitation and ensuring the security, stability and smooth functioning of industrial and supply chains, advance practical cooperation in innovation, trade and energy, increase policy dialogue with G20 governments, and contribute its wisdom and strength to inclusive and sustainable global economic growth.
Ms. Suzanne P. Clark, president of B20 and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, presided over this meeting and shared participants the process of this year's B20 Summit. Heads of relevant business associations from G20 members attended the meeting by video.
