On September 15, the "China-Saudi Arabia: Discussions on Dispute Resolution to Boost Partnership" Seminar was successfully held in Beijing. Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to China, attended and delivered speeches. Participants conducted in-depth exchanges on topics including China-Saudi Arabia arbitration cooperation, Saudi Arabia’s business environment and investment opportunities, and dispute resolution between Chinese and Saudi enterprises.
Nie Wenhui stated that CCPIT has extensive expertise in fields such as international economic and trade arbitration, intellectual property services, and commercial mediation, and has established a full-chain, one-stop, and international commercial legal service system. CCPIT is willing to further deepen cooperation with Saudi Arabia in legal fields, particularly in arbitration, to make solid and sustained progress of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
As one of the series of events of China Arbitration Week, this seminar was hosted by the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA). More than 150 participants attended the event, including officials from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Investment, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as representatives from the arbitration sectors of China and Saudi Arabia.
