On November 1st, Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Vice Chair of the World Chambers Federation (WCF), met via video link with Hassan Al Hashemi, Vice Chair of the WCF and Acting President and CEO of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce (DCC). The two sides exchanged views on topics such as further deepening bilateral cooperation and improving WCF's work.

Yu Jianlong congratulated Dubai on its successful hosting of the Expo 2020. He said that the CCPIT had been maintaining a good relationship with the DCC, and appreciated DCC's constant support for the CCPIT Representative Office in the Gulf Area. Chinese enterprises stand ready to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Dubai's business community and the CCPIT welcomes more Dubai's businesses to invest in China.

Hassan noted that the DCC valued the Chinese market very much and carried out a series of activities with Chinese business community through its representative offices in China. He hoped that the DCC would further deepen exchanges with the CCPIT and explore more cooperation opportunities.
