From August 27 to 28, Foreign-invested Enterprises Tour was successfully held in Shaanxi Province. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Zhao Yide, Secretary of the Communist Party of China Shaanxi Provincial Committee, jointly met with the participating representatives. Ren also signed a memorandum of cooperation between CCPIT and the Shaanxi Provincial Government with Zhao Gang, Governor of Shaanxi, and attended a Government-Business Dialogue and Investment Promotion alongside Chen Chunjiang, Vice Governor of Shaanxi. Additionally, Ren conducted on-site research at relevant enterprises.
Co-organized by CCPIT and the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government, this event represented a concrete effort by CCPIT to implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, enhance services for foreign enterprises, and support Shaanxi’s efforts to become a new focus of reform and opening-up in China’s interior.
At the Government-Business Dialogue and Investment Promotion, representatives from 16 commissions and 10 cities and districts in Shaanxi addressed concerns raised by foreign enterprises. Over 50 representatives from more than 30 foreign trade promotion organizations, chambers of commerce in China, and foreign enterprises attended the event, including executives from seven Fortune Global 500 companies.
