On September 26, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met with a delegation led by Tim Brin, CEO of GlobalFoundries, and a delegation led by Junta Tsujinaga, CEO of OMRON Corporation respectively, in Beijing. Ren exchanged views with delegations on topics including promoting exchanges between the business communities of China and the United States as well as China and Japan, serving the development of foreign-funded enterprises in China and deepening cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises.
Ren Hongbin focused on introducing China's efforts in promoting high-quality development, relentless opening-up, and fostering a pro-business environment that is market-oriented, law-based and world-class. The foreign side stated that it will continue deepening its presence in the Chinese market, enhancing cooperation with Chinese enterprises in the field of innovation, and achieving common development.
