From September 16 to 17, Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), visited Mongolia to attend and address the 19th China-Russia-Mongolia Business Forum.

Themed “The Role and Cooperation of Chambers of Commerce amid the New Landscape of the Global Economy,” the Forum was hosted by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) and attracted more than 300 political and business representatives from the three countries. The three sides signed a joint declaration at the Forum.

During the visit, Nie Wenhui met with Nyamtaishir Nomtoibayar, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, and held talks with B. Lkhagvajav, President of the MNCCI, and Olga Fedulova, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Omsk Region of the Russian Federation. He briefed them on the Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan and China’s economic situation, and exchanged views on issues including strengthening institutional ties and providing targeted services for enterprises. In the course of his trip, he also paid a courtesy call on the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia, held separate discussions with Chinese-funded enterprises in Mongolia, heads of CCPIT sub-councils from some leagues and cities in Inner Mongolia, and representatives of Chinese enterprises attending the Forum, and conducted research on relevant enterprises.
