On December 29, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met with Yeo Han-koo, Trade Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) of the Republic of Korea (ROK), and his delegation in Beijing. Ren briefed the delegation on China's economic situation and the latest progress in its opening-up, and exchanged views on issues including advancing practical bilateral cooperation, supporting the common development of Chinese and ROK enterprises, participating in APEC business community series activities, and deepening international cooperation in industrial and supply chains. Roh Jae-heon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to China, attended the meeting.
