On March 30, the 6th Congress of the CCPIT Sichuan Council and the 4th Member Congress of Sichuan Chamber of International Commerce were held in Chengdu. Chen Jian’an, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Yu Lijun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, attended and addressed the events.

Chen Jian’an stated that the CCPIT Sichuan Council has deeply integrated itself into the coordinated development within the CCPIT system, achieving remarkable results in areas such as multilateral and bilateral business cooperation, trade and investment promotion, and commercial legal services, and making significant contributions to the high-standard opening-up of Sichuan. CCPIT will further deepen cooperation with Sichuan Province and fully support Sichuan in leveraging its comprehensive strengths in economy, population, agriculture, and resources to continuously achieve higher-standard opening-up and higher-quality development.

Luo Qiang, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress, Ren Jingdong, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Sichuan Province, and Xie Shanghua, Vice Chairman of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), attended the congresses.

During his stay in Sichuan, Chen Jian’an also inspected relevant enterprises and promoted key economic and trade events such as the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE).
