On November 7, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met in Beijing with Paul Grimes, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), and Scott Dewar, Australian Ambassador to China. Ren actively briefed them on the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The two sides exchanged views on promoting exchanges between the Chinese and Australian business communities, supporting the development of foreign enterprises in China, advancing China–Australia industrial and supply chain cooperation, and strengthening communication and coordination under the APEC framework.
