From December 10th to 11th, the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) Trade Finance Annual Survey 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the "Survey") was held online. Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Executive Vice President of the CCOIC, and Zhang Min, Member of the CPC Committee of the Industrial Bank Co., Ltd, delivered video speeches. Wang Xiao, Executive Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) China Banking Commission and General Manager of the Transaction Banking Department of the Bank of China, attended and addressed the Survey via video link.

Yu Jianlong said that to build a modern socialist country in all respects, it is necessary to build China into a trader of quality, which is of great and far-reaching significance. It is suggested to deeply participate in the formulation of international rules, accelerate the digitalization of trade and strengthen efforts in the cultivation of trade finance talents, in order to fully implement the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress, improve the quality of trade finance services, and boost the stable growth of global economy and trade.

Financial professionals at the Survey noted that they are looking forward to working with their peers to build consensus and discuss how to promote innovative development, contributing greater financial strength to the building of a trader of quality in the new era.

Since the first CCOIC Trade Finance Annual Survey was held in 2010, 13 such events have been organized. Co-hosted by the CCOIC and CCPIT (CCOIC) Training Center, supported by ICC UAE and ICC Austria, and with the theme of "Improving the Quality of Financial Services to Boost Global Economy and Trade", the Survey discussed 18 topics including the 2023 global economic outlook, problems with credit letters in the new era, and new progress in rules and practice of digital trade both at home and abroad.
