On December 25, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) held a working meeting of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) in the Xiong'an New Area of Hebei Province, focusing on planning business-sector deliverable for 2026 APEC "China Year." Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the CCPIT, attended and addressed the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Li Qingshuang, Vice Chairperson of CCPIT. ABAC China members and members-designate were present.

During the visit, Ren discussed work-related issues with Zhang Guohua, Chairman of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Director of the Administrative Committee of Xiong'an New Area. Ren also visited Sinochem Holdings, China Satellite Network Group, the Xiong'an Urban Computing Center, and the Xiong'an Exhibition Center for research. In-depth exchanges were held on supporting the Xiong'an New Area's high-level opening-up and its deeper participation in international cooperation along industrial and supply chains. Zhao Xinhai, Vice Governor of the People's Government of Hebei Province, took part in the related activities.
