On September 10, Lin Honghong, Vice Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met separately in Beijing with Tom Simpson, Managing Director & Chief Representative for China, at the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), and John Hong, Deputy CEO of Standard Chartered Bank (China) Ltd. The two sides exchanged views on boosting exchanges between Chinese and British business communities, deepening international cooperation on industrial and supply chains, and taking part in key events including the 4th Business Conference on Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development.
