On the afternoon of June 22, 2026, on the sidelines of the Fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), the Think Tank Event and Releasing Conference of Global Supply Chain Report and Indices was successfully held in Beijing. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Zhou Kaiquan, General Manager of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), Zhang Qi, Vice President of the Development Research Centre of the State Council, Beata Stoczyńska, Executive Director of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) and other domestic and international guests attended the event.
Ren Hongbin noted that the Global Supply Chain Promotion Report, as the flagship publication of the CISCE, has been published simultaneously in Chinese and English for four consecutive years. On this basis, the Global Supply Chain Promotion Index (GSCPI) and the Global Supply Chain Connectivity Index (GSCCI), along with the Global Supply Chain Innovation Index and the Global Supply Chain Resilience Index, which were first launched at previous Expos, and the newly developed U.S. Supply Chain Resilience Index and EU Supply Chain Resilience Index, collectively constitute the Global Supply Chain Resilience Index Matrix. This matrix serves as a quantifiable public good that enables stakeholders across sectors to assess evolving supply chain dynamics.
Zhao Ping, President of the Academy of the CCPIT, released the Global Supply Chain Promotion Report 2026 and the Global Supply Chain Resilience Index Matrix.
The event was organized by the Academy of the CCPIT. Over 200 people from domestic and international political, business, and academic circles, as well as mainstream media, attended the event.
