On August 29, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), visited Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area for research. He held working talks with Zhang Qiang, Secretary of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area Party Working Committee, to learn about the development of new quality productive forces in the Area, and the participation of industry chain, supply chain, and international cooperation. Ren also conducted a research visit to technological enterprises such as Pony.ai, Longwood Valley MedTech, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), SemiDrive, communicating with them to accelerate research and innovation of the companies, explore overseas markets, and participate in the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE).
