CCPIT Vice Chairman Lu Pengqi Attends 2021 International Commercial & Legal Cooperation Forum

On December 15th, Lu Pengqi, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended the 2021 International Commercial & Legal Cooperation Forum in Changsha, Hunan Province and delivered a speech.

Lu Pengqi said that the legal, industrial and business communities of all countries should grasp the general trend of the times, practice true multilateralism, strengthen mutual learning in laws and policy communication, improve international trade rules through consensus on the rule of law, as well as reduce, and hopefully remove, barriers to trade and investment. The CCPIT will give full play to its functions and advantageous resources in connecting the government and enterprises, foreign and domestic stakeholders, and supply and demand, in order to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the legal, industrial and business communities of various countries, and to continuously make further efforts in contributing to the progressing of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the sustainable development of the global economy.

The forum was hosted by the CCPIT, with a theme of “Innovation Leads Development, Rules Promote Opening-up”.
