On August 28, The China-Uzbekistan Economic and Trade Investment Forum was held in Beijing. Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan attended the forum, and Li Qingshuang, Vice Chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) also attended and addressed the forum.

Li Qingshuang stated that the high-quality Belt and Road cooperation between China and Uzbekistan has been continuously expanding and deepening, yielding a series of remarkable achievements. The CCPIT places great emphasis on promoting economic and trade between China and Uzbekistan and stands ready to work with Uzbekistan partners to implement the important consensus between the two heads of state, continue facilitating collaboration between the industrial and business communities of both sides to achieve more practical outcomes

The forum was co-hosted by the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
