2026-05-14

On May 11, the meeting between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Chinese business leaders was held in Beijing. Tajik President Emomali Rahmon attended and delivered a speech. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) also attended and addressed the meeting.

Ren Hongbin stated that the CCPIT is ready to work with the Tajik side to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state. Through platforms such as the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), the CCPIT will leverage its professional strengths in commercial legal services, such as commercial mediation and economic and trade arbitration, to better support enterprises from both countries in improving the quality and scale of trade and investment cooperation. This will inject new momentum into building a China-Tajikistan community with a shared future at a higher level.

As the Chinese lead coordinator, the CCPIT assisted Tajikistan in organizing this event. Over 80 enterprises from sectors such as mineral resources and energy, transportation, finance and insurance, and hospitality and cultural tourism participated in the exchange.
