From October 10 to 13, the 2025 Exposición Comercial de la República Popular China, República Dominicana organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), was successfully held in the capital city of Santo Domingo. Distinguished guests, including representatives from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Dominican Republic, the Department of Exhibition Management of CCPIT, the Vice-Ministry for Economic Affairs and International Cooperation of the Dominican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (ProDominicana), attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Representatives from multiple government agencies, including the Dominican Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs and the Ministry of Labor, were present at the opening ceremony. Additionally, representatives from various sectors, including the Dominican-China Chamber of Commerce, the China General Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic, and the Former  Dominican Republic's Ambassador to China, actively participated in the event.

The exhibition covered an area of 2,000 square meters, featuring 39 Chinese enterprises showcasing advanced technologies and premium products in frontier fields such as new energy, smart manufacturing, electronic information, and green environmental protection. This made Intelligent Manufacturing in China a standout highlight at the event. The exhibition featured a specially designed national image display area, vividly showcasing China's achievements in technological innovation and green development to the Dominican public. The established wish wall, along with the interactive calligraphy and tea art experience zones, attracted large crowds of visitors who stopped to take photos. These displays introduced outstanding Chinese culture embodying Chinese characteristics, Chinese spirits, and Chinese wisdoms to the Dominican Republic, shaping a reliable, admirable and respectable image of China by being open and confident, but also modest and humble.

Concurrently with the exhibition, the China-Dominican Republic Trade and Investment Forum was held. The successful hosting of this exhibition will further deepen China-Dominican Republic economic and trade relations, inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the Belt and Road cooperation, and bring more tangible benefits to the people of both countries.
