From January 15 to 16, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), visited Anhui Province for research. He held a meeting with Liang Yanshun, Secretary of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee. They engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening cooperation between the CCPIT and the province, supporting Anhui’s sustained efforts to build itself into “three areas and one zone” (a cradle for sci-tech innovation, a cluster for emerging industries, a new high ground for reform and opening-up, and a demonstration zone for comprehensive green transition in economic and social development), leveraging scientific and technological innovation to lead the development of new quality productive forces, and assisting enterprises in deeply integrating into global industrial and supply chains.

During his stay in Anhui, Ren also attended a promotion event for the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) and visited local enterprises in Hefei city, capital of Anhui. Fei Gaoyun, Member of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Secretary of the Hefei Municipal Party Committee, and Sun Yong, Vice Governor of Anhui Province, participated in the relevant events.
