On September 25, the International Conference on the Third-Party Funding Industry was held in Beijing. Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended and addressed the meeting.
Yu Jianlong said that as Chinese enterprises went global with accelerating pace and China’s domestic legal services market increasingly integrated with the world market, third-party funding was gradually being accepted and utilized by more Chinese enterprises and legal professionals. He hoped that all parties could pull together, strengthen international exchanges, establish long-term mechanisms and channels for international cooperation, and jointly utilize third-party funding and other effective means to escort/shield for the high-quality “going global” of Chinese enterprises.
The Symposium was hosted by the Beijing International Dispute Resolution Development Center (BIDRC), organized by Houzhu. Around 300 people attended the meeting, including representatives from related arbitration institutions, international organizations, domestic and foreign third-party funding organizations, experts and scholars, law firms, and enterprises.
