On September 16, the U.S.-China Zero Carbon Factories Seminar was held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, with more than 60 representatives from relevant Chinese and U.S. institutions and enterprises in attendance.

At the seminar, representatives from well-known U.S. companies including Air Products, Emerson, and 3M held in-depth exchanges with representatives of relevant Chinese institutions and enterprises on topics such as advanced manufacturing and automation, and the development of zero-carbon factories and industrial parks, jointly exploring new opportunities for industrial cooperation.

This seminar was the fourth event of the 2026 U.S.-China Commercial Matchmaking Program (CMP). It was co-hosted by the Department of Industry Promotion of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Consulate General Shenyang, and organized by CCPIT Liaoning Sub-council and CCPIT Shenyang Sub-council. The event aimed to promote practical exchanges and matchmaking cooperation between Chinese and U.S. enterprises in the development of zero-carbon smart factories and industrial parks.
