On the afternoon of July 17, the 2025 Plenary Meeting of the Artificial Intelligence Industry Working Committee of the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was successfully convened in Beijing. Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended the event.
Nie emphasized that artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing industries on a week-by-week basis, emerging as a pivotal force reshaping the global economic landscape. Since its establishment over a year ago, the Artificial Intelligence Industry Working Committee has made significant strides in policy research, standard-setting, technical exchanges, industrial collaboration, and international cooperation. The conference focused on the field of artificial intelligence, where participants engaged in in-depth discussions on current challenges, jointly explored development strategies, and collectively envisioned the industry's future. It provided a valuable platform for attendees to exchange ideas, network, and explore potential collaborations.
Shi Huikang, Deputy Director-General of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), stated that the ministry will continue supporting breakthroughs in core AI technologies and the development of standard systems, with the aim of fostering an open, collaborative, secure, and controllable industrial ecosystem. Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.'s AIIC Executive Committee member Tang Xiaoguang and others shared innovative experiences in the integration of AI technology and industry from the perspective of enterprise practice.
The conference brought together nearly 200 participants, including government officials, industry experts, corporate representatives, and academic scholars, to jointly explore the development trends of the AI industry, strategize technological innovation pathways, and promote collaborative development of the industrial ecosystem.
