On the morning of June 24, the "Commercial Mediation+" Global Dialogue was successfully held in Beijing during the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE). Nie Wenhui, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Yan Jindong, Level I Bureau Rank Official of the Bureau of People's Participation and Promotion of Rule of Law of the Ministry of Justice, Xiong Fei, Deputy Director General of the Bureau of Public Legal Services of the Ministry of Justice, Zhang Junqin, Senior Counsellor of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, Li Liping, Chairman of the CCPIT Construction Industry Sub-Council, and Atakan Özdemir, Chief Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in China, attended the event and delivered speeches.

Nie Wenhui stated that the Regulations on Commercial Mediation, which officially came into effect on May 1, 2026, marks a new stage of rule of law and standardization for China's commercial mediation. The CCPIT will continue to leverage its institutional advantages in foreign-related commercial legal services, while deepening coordination with judicial administration, courts, arbitration, and notarization bodies to build a well-connected and highly efficient diversified dispute resolution network. Furthermore, by relying on the CISCE as a high-end platform for opening up, the CCPIT aims to deepen international exchanges on the rule of law and align with prevailing international economic and trade rules. This will allow the organization to provide full-chain, professional commercial mediation and foreign-related legal services for both Chinese and foreign market entities, fully safeguarding the security and stability of global industrial and supply chains.

Themed "Commercial Mediation: A Preferred Approach to Resolving Disputes in Corporate Overseas Operations," the forum aligned closely with the critical timeline of implementing the Regulations on Commercial Mediation. Focusing on the stability of global industrial and supply chains, the event accurately addressed the legal needs of enterprises in their cross-border operations, bringing together domestic and foreign elites to explore diversified pathways for resolving foreign-related commercial disputes. During the event, the Bureau of Justice of Fengtai District, Beijing, and the CCPIT Construction Industry Sub-Council signed a cooperation agreement to establish a diversified commercial dispute resolution mechanism.

Jointly hosted by the CCPIT Commercial and Legal Service Center and the CCPIT Construction Industry Sub-Council, the Dialogue attracted over 100 participants, including representatives from the trade promotion system, domestic and foreign industry associations, and enterprises expanding globally.
