Ren Hongbin Leads Delegation to Kyrgyzstan

From August 27 to 29, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to Kyrgyzstan. He attended the China-Kyrgyzstan Business and Investment Forum co-hosted by the CCPIT, the Kyrgyzstan National Investment Agency and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan. Erlist Akunbekov, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Ravshanbek Sabirov, Director of the Kyrgyzstan National Investment Agency, Liu Jiangping, Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, and Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan attended the event and delivered remarks. Over 300 government and business representatives from both sides attended the forum.

During the visit, Ren Hongbin held separate meetings with Deputy Prime Minister Erlist Akunbekov and President Temir Sariev. Together with Erlist Akunbekov, he attended a government-business symposium, where he presented the Outline of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and its economic situation. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on advancing practical cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan, between China and Central Asian states, and among the business communities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states. The delegation also conducted field visits to the SCO National Project Support Center and relevant Chinese-funded enterprises.

In addition, the delegation traveled to Kara-Balta, where they visited the city's municipal government and the Zhongda Oil Refinery, and held exchanges with local officials and company management.
