On June 16, the first working meeting on the China Pavilion for Expo 2027 Belgrade was held in Beijing. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Cui Jian, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Sport of China, attended the meeting and delivered remarks. Li Qingshuang, Vice Chairperson of the CCPIT and Government Representative of the China Pavilion at Expo 2027 Belgrade, presided over the meeting.
The meeting noted that supporting Serbia in hosting Expo 2027 Belgrade is an important consensus reached by the Presidents of China and Serbia, and a key part of advancing the building of a China-Serbia community with a shared future in the new era. All relevant departments should fully recognize the significance of the preparatory work for the China Pavilion, further enhance their sense of responsibility and mission, strengthen overall coordination and collaboration, and make every effort to deliver a high-standard, high-quality and high-level China Pavilion and to present China as a country worthy of friendship, trust and respect.
Representatives from the Publicity Department of CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the General Administration of Sport of China, China International Communications Group (CICG), as well as China Construction Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. and the Central Academy of Fine Arts attended the meeting and delivered remarks.
