On September 6th, the 2020 Qinghai Eco (Industrial) Expo and Carpet Exhibition, with the theme of “Building an Ecological Civilization Together, Sharing Development Achievements”, began in Xining. CCPIT Vice Chairman Chen Jian’an, Secretary of Qinghai Provincial Committee of CPC Wang Jianjun, Governor of Qinghai Province Xin Changxing and other guests were in attendance.

Vice Chairman Chen Jian’an said in his speech that, in recent years, Qinghai Province had been actively engaged in the Belt and Road Initiative and actively explored a high-quality development path that puts the environment first and remains committed to green development with marked achievements. The Expo is of great significance as it shows comprehensively the notable results achieved in building an ecological civilization in Qinghai and actively builds platforms for the communication between domestic and overseas ecological industries. The CCPIT is ready to strengthen cooperation with Qinghai and institutions concerned so as to facilitate international ecological industry cooperation and project coordination.

The Expo lasted for 5 days with exhibition area exceeding 40,000 square meters and more than 1,200 companies participating. There were three halls that focused on ecology, quality carpets and the exhibition and sales of traded goods respectively.
