On September 5th, the Henan Services Trade Promotion Conference was held in Beijing. It is one of the thematic forums organized by the CIFTIS. Zhang Shaogang, Vice Chairman of the CCPIT; He Jinping, Vice Governor of Henan Province, and Chen Jun, Vice Chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, attended the conference and delivered speeches.

Zhang Shaogang expressed that as the economic globalization continued to advance, trade in services had become increasingly significant in economic and trade cooperation between nations. In recent years, Henan Province continues to open up its service industry, and vigorously promotes the innovative development of trade in services. As a result, the service industry has become the major economic driving force in Henan. Therefore, fostering practical collaboration in services trade will promote the economic and social development in Henan, and help it become an export-oriented economy. The CCPIT is willing to join hands with the CPC Henan Provincial Committee and Henan Provincial People’s Government to fuel the innovative development of trade in services in Henan, and make greater contributions to form a new development pattern.

More than 200 representatives from relevant government departments in Henan, chambers of commerce, embassies in China, established enterprises at home and abroad attended the conference.
