On 30 March, CCPIT held an online symposium on coping with the impact of the pandemic to stabilize foreign trade and investment. Chen Jian’an, Vice-chairperson of the CCPIT, attended and addressed the meeting.

Vice-chairperson Chen Jian’an stressed that we should further deepen our understanding, enhance our sense of responsibility and urgency, grasp the changes in the face of this serious challenge, take the initiative, obtain orders and preserve foreign enterprises to stabilize foreign trade and investment, continue to strengthen the full commercial legal services, enhance information and training, improve the national CCPIT system work synergy and help the foreign trade and investment to stabilize.

The participating local CCPIT staffs introduced the foreign trade and investment status quo, work in progress, results achieved and future work plans of their respective regions.

Representatives from the CCPIT General Office, Department of Development Research, Department of International Relations, Department of Trade and Investment Promotion and Department of Legal Affairs attended the meeting along with colleagues from eight local CCPIT offices in Beijing, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, Guangdong and Sichuan.
