CCPIT Boosts Foreign Enterprises’ Confidence in Investing in China

Recently, CCPIT has conducted researches on some foreign chambers and associations and over 100 foreign enterprises in China around the issue of industrial chain of foreign enterprises. According to the results, the vast majority of enterprises show full confidence in the Chinese market and believe that the industry chain in China is relatively resilient. China’s manufacturing industry remains its overall competitive advantages and the enterprises prefer to continue their investments in China.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, CCPIT has communicated with foreign chambers and associations and foreign enterprises in China to understand the impact and learn their opinions and suggestions. CCPIT introduced measures and services in dealing with the pandemic to the foreign parties to support their development in China.

At present, CCPIT has reported to the government the demands of chambers of commerce and associations from Europe, US and Japan and other foreign-funded enterprises on issues around the pandemic, industrial chain and business environment. Some of the practical difficulties that foreign enterprises had experienced have already been solved.

It is worth mentioning that CCPIT has been providing policy interpretation, online training, business promotion, consultation and problem-solving services, free issuance of certificates and other services related to the force majeure of COVID-19 to foreign enterprises.

Recently, CCPIT has issued force majeure certificates to two foreign enterprises, involving a contract value of more than 7 million yuan and another more than 5 million yuan.

CCPIT will continue to improve the mechanism of serving foreign enterprises. For the actual needs of foreign enterprises, CCPIT will take multiple measures and precise strategies to deal with them and boost the confidence of foreign investors in China. CCPIT will contribute to the work of stabilizing foreign investment and optimizing the business environment in China.
